A project which we started right from scratch, starting with some rural land of orange and olive trees on the edge of the village, going through the whole process of changing the classification to urban land and then getting permission to build two houses. The result is probably the best house in the valley. It ticks all the boxes; in a village, with a large garage and outdoor parking for several cars, a couple of acres of sculpted gardens, a padel tennis court, a fifteen metre swimming pool with a built-in outside kitchen with barbecue and pizza oven, a bar, great views and a water reservoir big enough to row a small boat around.
On the ground floor is an entrance hall leading to a large dining room with small corner bar, a large and very well equipped kitchen with a utility room and pantry. Also on this floor is a salon with a large TV and two en-suite bathrooms, a double with a private patio and a twin. There is also a WC with wetroom. On the first floor are a further two double bedrooms, both with private balconies, and a study. Below stairs there is a further very large bedroom, a small gymnasium, a sauna, a jacuzzi and and a WC and shower.
Outside there is a huge garden on three levels, each with its own character. On the same level as the house is a garden with fruit trees, a large pool with a bar and covered barbecue adjoining, and a chill-out area. On the next level is a padel court and a garden with flower covered arches, (in summer) small secluded areas with seating and fountains, and numerous orange trees. On the top level there is a vegetable garden, another covered barbecue with a grill big enough to roast a sheep or a goat. There is a large marble table with views across the valley for al-fresco dining, a fenced reservoir for irrigating the property and numerous citrus trees.
